In short

An import that stays at "processing" has failed: the file broke a rule. The header row deleted or renamed, "Yes" or "Si" instead of TRUE, a wrong birthday format, phones without the country prefix, amounts in euros instead of cents. Check first​

  1. The template. Download it from the club itself and keep its header row exactly: the column names and their case matter (creditBalance, not CreditBalance).
  2. TRUE and FALSE, in capitals, for consent columns. Not "Yes", not "Si", not 1.
  3. Phones with the country prefix (34612…), birthdays in the template's format, amounts in cents.
  4. The unique field chosen on the import matches the club's login identifier, phone or email.

Causes and fixes​

Stuck at "processing"​

The import failed and the status did not say so. The causes seen: the first row with the column names deleted; Si instead of TRUE; a birthday in another format; a header renamed. Fix the file and import again; ask your provider to delete the failed job if it blocks the list.

Members imported, but no accrual, tags or balances​

  • The import overwrites every column it carries: a second import with allowSMS empty switches SMS consent off for those members. Keep only the columns you mean to change.
  • Tags imported in another spelling than the rules expect match nothing; see A member did not get the reward.
  • termsOfUse and gdpr left at FALSE mean those members cannot redeem or receive messages until they accept the terms.

The Import page is not there​

Import is available to your provider and distributor logins, not to client logins by default; your provider can open it for one client on request. Otherwise send the file to whoever manages the club for you.

Keep the file​

A re-import to correct consent or balances needs the original file. Keep every file you imported, with its date.

When to write to your provider​

Write with the file name, the club, the date of the attempt and what the status shows. If the import must be undone, say which columns were wrong. See How to ask for help.
