Checks for a new club
In short
A new club is delivered from a sign-up form and a template. The form sometimes says less than the club needs, and the template sometimes leaves a trace of another club. Ten minutes in the first week, on the list below, catch both before a member does.
The list
- The app's links. The menu and the map open the right pages. They are set in the app editor; see Add the menu and map links.
- The legal links. Privacy, terms and the website point at this club, not at another. See Legals.
- The logo link, the browser tab icon and the app name belong to this club. See Change your logo and app name.
- The language. The app, the Wallet Pass and the messages are in the language the club asked for; the form and the rewards sometimes disagree.
- The gifts the club expected exist: welcome gift, birthday gift, punch card. A form that said "no" to one of them delivered the club without it; see Gifts.
- The levels have their images. A level on the Wallet Pass needs one image per level under Conditional views; without it the level does not show. See Wallet Pass.
- The sender names. SMS sender and email sender carry this club's name, not the template's. See SMS and sign-in codes.
- SMS credit and the credit control are in place before the first campaign. See SMS and sign-in codes.
- The Location list holds every branch that will send sales, with the right Branch IDs. See The POS integration.
- The users. Every login the club asked for exists and sees the modules it needs; see No permissions, or a page you cannot see.
Something belongs to another club
A club prepared from a template or from another club can keep the other club's tab icon, email sender, logo link or privacy link. It is a setup leftover, not a fault of the club: tell your provider which field, and your provider corrects it.
When to write to your provider
Write with the item number from the list above, the club, and a screenshot. See How to ask for help.
